1971 'K' Fiat 500 L, a right hand drive example restored by its current owner around 10 years ago. A great usable example perfect for the summer and sure to turn heads wherever you go! Extensive mechanical and bodywork carried out, detailed as follows: Replacement of inner & outer front wings, inner & outer front panel, bonnet, driver & passenger doors, along with repairs to outer sills & rear wheel arches. New front & rear bumpers, new door handles. New sunroof frame & fabric. A full respray along with wax oiled internal panels. Engine replaced with a 652cc unit from a Fiat 126 along with a synchromesh gearbox, giving greater usability. Upgrade to full electronic ignition and new starter motor fitted. Dynamo rebuilt with new bearing and brushes. Wiring loom terminals replaced, battery isolator switch fitted to passenger footwell. Front disc brake conversion, new master cylinder, rear cylinders, brake pipes and rubber flexi pipes. New springs, shock absorbers and bushes. Original interior and wheels, with correct size 125 x 12 tyres fitted with inner tubes. Last serviced in March 2022, with engine oil, spark plugs and air filter replaced. New battery fitted in April 2022. Historic status so tax and MOT exempt, but always MOT'd by the current owner and currently MOT'd to August 2022.
