1997 'P' Porsche 911 993 Targa, finished in Arctic Silver with Black leather interior. The last generation of air-cooled Porsche, with the later Varioram engine and sought-after Manual gearbox. Supplied new by AFN Porsche Guildford on 1st May 1997, and serviced by them up to 2001, at which point it had covered 72,000 miles. Mileage then increased at a more sedate pace, backed up by the original service book with 20 service stamps at Porsche main agents and marque specialists, up to the previous owners acquisition in 2010 at approximately 100,000 miles. He used it sparingly during his ownership, covering just over 10,000 miles in this time, and less than 5,000 miles in the last 7 years. Notable works over and above routine servicing carried out during his ownership include new clutch, rear shock absorbers, timing chain covers, rear silencers and starter motor. Whilst always being serviced and maintained during the previous ownership regardless of usage, upon the car arriving into stock we had a recommissioning inspection and service carried out by a Porsche specialist.
