2024 - The Year in Review
As we prepare to leave 2024 behind, we thought it would be a good idea to look back over the past 12 months here at Westbourne Professional.
To sum up, it has certainly been busy! In total, 339 vehicles were sold by us in 2024, made up of cars, vans and even motorcycles. This is a mix of regular retail sales, vehicle sourcing, sales brokerage and trade sales of the following brands:

We have sold vehicles to all corners of the UK and beyond, with notable sales including a Toyota Land Cruiser to Guernsey and a Mercedes-Benz E-Class that sold for export to Cyprus. Nationwide sales are the norm for us at Westbourne Professional, we are able to offer walk around videos, FaceTime viewings and nationwide delivery on all our vehicles, so you don't even need to leave the comfort of your own home to buy with confidence from us.
Of our total retail sales throughout the year, we have assisted with the financing of over 25% of these, working with our partner lenders and brokers, along with third-party lenders. As a SAF accredited dealership, all our customer facing staff have undergone specific finance training and have passed the industry recognised SAF Expert test, so you can be assured the finance deal that you take up is the right one for you and your needs.
The trade department of Westbourne Professional sold a record number vehicles in 2024, this is made up of a varied mix of part exchange vehicles that do not meet our stock criteria, along with vehicles sourced specifically for other dealerships by our own dedicated trade specialist. This included a total of 13 all-electric BMW iX3’s and 3 Jaguar I-Pace’s, that were sourced directly from a national lease company and sold to both main dealers and some of the UK’s largest car supermarkets.
Our consultancy service for businesses continues to develop, and we are very pleased to have assisted several Sheffield businesses in both acquisition and sale of their vehicles. This is an area of the business that we aim to grow further in 2025, so if you are a business looking at buying or selling any type of vehicle, we are happy to offer a free initial no-obligation consultation.
Two new members of staff joined the team, as we welcomed Will in sales and Tommy as our vehicle technician. The addition of these two has given us greater capacity to sell even more vehicles, preparing them to the highest standards, and we look forward to continued growth in 2025! Josh Atkinson, who has been with Westbourne Professional since 2017, was appointed as Director to join Oliver in the future development of the business.
In April, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary, and we marked the occasion by hosting a charity Easter egg collection in aid of Sheffield Children’s Hospital and various charities and children’s homes in Sheffield and South Yorkshire. We were overwhelmed with the support, with over 650 Easter eggs collected and over £300 donated to Jessops Hospital High Dependency Unit. Supported by our friends Lynne’s Catering, Westdale Logs, Rev Shed Moto, Eve Kitchen, The Bike Specialists, GB Speedway Team, Autocraft Motor Caravans and others; a spectacular trials display was put on by multiple British and World champion James Dabill, in which a Jaguar may have been harmed slightly! We are hoping to make this an annual event, so stay tuned for 2025!
Our dedication to customer service was also recognised by Auto Trader, with us receiving their coveted “Highly Rated” award for customer service in 2024. We take great pride in the service we provide, “Professional by name, Professional by nature” is how we like to operate and the 200+ 5-star reviews we have received on Auto Trader, Google and Car Dealer Reviews is testament to the hard work put in by every member of our team.
