Westbourne Professional at DL12 Indoor Trial
In amongst a busy start to 2025, on Saturday 18th January we were proud to support once again for the third time the DL12 Indoor Trial, held at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena just 2 miles from our showroom.
Sleekly organised by an excellent team headed up by 12-times World Champion Dougie Lampkin MBE and Jake Miller, the DL12 Indoor Trial is the UK’s only international indoor motorcycle trial, and showcases the world’s best trials riders tackling seemingly impossible obstacles in front of a packed house of fans.
We were delighted to be involved as “Presenting Partner” of the young Spanish hot-shot and current World Number 2 Gabriel Marcelli, who aboard his Repsol Montesa is team mate to the incredible 36-time World Champion Toni Bou. With a near faultless performance in the heat stage of the event, Marcelli booked his place into the final four fighting for a podium and indeed a win. A shaky start in the final meant the pressure was on, but with some stunning rides on the final couple of sections assured Marcelli of his podium behind his compatriots Bou and Adam Raga.
